Hi, I’m Tammy, thanks for stopping by! This is how it all began…..

I have been photographing weddings for over 17 years now. Oh my, that’s a LOT of weddings! I shot my first wedding as the lead photographer in 2005 and never looked back. Even after all these years, I still LOVE this work! I fell in love with photography as a young girl, but never thought of being a photographer. I loved scrapbooking as a young mom, so one year for Christmas my husband bought me a nice SLR camera. When my babies were little, I spent countless hours posing them, creating backdrops, practicing lighting techniques, then, as soon as I finished a roll, I’d drive to a nearby town 30 miles away and drop my film off at the one hour lab. I can’t tell you how many rolls of film I went through. This was where it began, and now when I look back, I still can’t believe this is where my path ended up. Being a photographer has been a dream come true for me. I know that it’s a blessing from God to have this gift. I’m thankful to Him for this incredible journey. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 26 years and we have 3 beautiful children, who are really no longer children, but they are still my babies!  We also just welcomed our first grandchild, so life is a crazy kind of wonderful.

I really do feel blessed that I am to be able to do something I honestly love so much. I truly believe weddings are more than just a happy day for couples. It’s a celebration of love and family. I want to capture those connections and freeze them forever in time.
