Hey there!
I’m Nate, a wedding and portrait photographer for the inland northwest including Spokane, Pullman, Coeur d’Alene, Medical lake, Cheney, WA and beyond.
I will be the first to tell you, celebrating lives accomplishments and joys is one of my favorite things. As such I look forward to photographing the love and joy of your life’s most proud and exciting moments! The pride of graduating from high school or college, the ecstasy of being engaged, the delights of wedding day, and the happiness of growing as a family.
While at WSU, I met and married my best friend and wife, Faith. After college, we moved to the Spokane area where I have continued my love for learning, creating, exploring, and discovering. I am an outdoor enthusiast, licensed architect and pyrotechnic operator with a keen eye for design and details.
With 8 years of professional photography experience, I treat your special occasions as if they were my own – after all I have been there and know just how valuable your photos truly are. Nate recently did our extended family photos out on Lake Roosevelt. We had 16 people and he did a phenomenal job. The pictures all turned out amazing and he delivered them early which I really appreciate since they will be used for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I’m ready to book him for my son’s senior pictures next year.
Nate Robinson recently took our family pictures and we can’t recommend him enough! First, he responded right away to my initial email and answered all of my questions. His business is well organized and you aren’t required to pay anything until the photo shoot, you just fill out the paperwork to reserve your spot. Nate is down-to-earth and genuine, which made our photo shoot fun and natural, not awkward😁. The lighting was perfect and Nate knew all of the best places to shoot at Turnbull. Although he had given us a specific time frame, he took the time to ask if we’d like any other shots. He is professional and great at what he does! We got out photos back a week later and we love them! Thanks, Nate!
Nate did a phenomenal job taking senior pictures of my son! From day one of reaching out to Nate, to the actual photo session, to the final product, he was there every step of the way. His communication leading up to the session was wonderful and full of insightful and creative ideas from locations to outfits. The session itself was actually quite fun as Nate helped my son relax and feel comfortable, and to laugh and be himself. The final product was AMAZING! I thought I had a good idea of what to expect after the session, but the pictures delivered were above and beyond what I had imagined. I am so happy we chose Nate for senior pictures! I very highly recommend him!
Nate did a phenomenal job with my graduation photos! He was very friendly and even let me bring my dog along for the shoot. Nate went above and beyond to ensure the best quality of photos- even climbing into a tree at one point to get some cherry blossoms in the shot. He ensured I would get the photos back within 4 weeks, and returned them after only 4 days, with plenty of time before my graduation. I was very impressed with both the final photos and the way that Nate runs his business. If you’re looking for an amazing photographer, go with Nate Robinson!

We had family photos taken recently and had a great experience. We are new to the area and found Nate photography online and decided to go with him based on the good reviews. He was easy going and was able to get us worked in quickly based on our schedules. Definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future for more family photos.

Nate did a great job with our daughter’s senior pictures! He had great ideas to incorporate her passion of volleyball and also the beautiful scenery of Turnbull. He was on-time, very professional, and had her pictures done before the date he originally had estimated for us. I definitely recommend him if you are needing any type of professional photography and we will be using him again when our son graduates from high school!

Nate recently took my college graduate photos here at EWU and he was awesome and definitely worth every penny. Booking with him was the easiest and smoothest process ever !!! During the shoot he was very knowledgeable about the different locations to take the pictures as well as the poses which was very helpful. I received my photos very quickly and they came out amazinggg like top quality , I am truly in love with every single photo. If you’re looking for a photographer for any event definitely hire Nate ! I will be recommending him to all of my friends.
I searched for a while to find someone to take graduation pictures and I am so happy that I found Nate. Taking pictures can sometimes feel very awkward but Nate does a great job getting you comfortable with the different poses and making sure that your pictures look natural. Nate also scopes out the perfect location to have a background and is willing to help you decide where to go. The overall session was very efficient. The quality of the photos are awesome, and the process of getting digital and physical copies is straightforward. I definitely recommend Nate for your future photography needs

Nate was incredible to work with for my graduation photos! He was very communicative about the scheduling process and booking with him was easy. I was nervous about the shoot and quality as I have never had professional photos taken before, but they’re truly breathtaking. Nate will help pick the best locations, angles, and poses to ensure the best possible results. The photos I received after my session were of amazing quality and I could not thank him enough for this experience and for helping to wrap up my college experience. I never really had a clear idea on who I wanted as my photographer for my grad photo shoot. After some Google searching, I found Nate and looked over his work. Holy dang, did some of the photos came out so well for all these college grads! I was sold, emailed him, and booked a date with him. I am usually an awkward person to interact with but Nate was so great to talk to and so fun to work with! And man, does he know what he’s doing! Trust in him when he asked you to pose a certain way and when he ripped some leaves out to put in front of the camera.. Whatever magic he did, the pictures came out AMAZING and I didn’t realize how great I look at certain poses he had asked me to do! He was patient, easy to talk to, and so knowledgeable at his stuff.. I had been searching for a photographer for my son’s senior pictures. I found Nate Robinson Photography on Facebook. After looking at his amazing pictures, I knew that I Nate was the photographer I was looking for! Nate suggested Fish Lake for the location; what beautiful place for pictures. My son was very reluctant to have his picture taken but Nate made him comfortable and got some wonderful photos. I’m in awe how well the pictures turned out! Even my son is impressed! Will definitely hire Nate again!

Nate did a wonderful job with our photos! He was great with our 4 kids, picked a beautiful spot near our home and made it super comfortable for all of us! He was also very quick to respond, answer any questions we had and very quick to get the pictures back to us. The communication with the whole process was great.
Nate came out in the pouring rain to give me the BEST senior pictures ever!! It was cold and miserable and a super busy moms weekend, but Nate made the session seamless and fun. Nate did an excellent job with my 30th birthday photos. He was so creative and fun the entire session and captured so many wonderful photos in such a short amount of time. When I received the photos back I was amazed with how well they turned out and the timeless moments he was able to capture. We had Nate as the photographer for our wedding in September of 2018. He was responsive and easy to communicate with. He made sure to do his homework on our wedding details and got to know us a little bit prior to wedding to make sure his time was well spent. We were pretty manic as the date got closer and Nate was really professional and patient with us as we tried to figure out all of our last minute details. We were incredibly happy with the photos he took. The actual wedding day went by so fast that it’s a little hard to remember all of it but Nate’s photos captured all the fun and pertinent details that we might of missed or forgotten about, especially as time moves on. We’d happily work with Nate again and would highly recommended him to our friends, family, and acquaintances as someone to work with for any photographic needs.

The day came so suddenly, arrangements made previously became such a blur as everyone scrambled to make things perfect despite the morning of pouring down rain. My story may not be perfect, but my photographer sure made it look that way! I heard about and hired Nate Robinson after hearing about and seeing his work through an old co-worker of mine. I chatted with him and laid down all the important things that I wanted pictures of, from what I knew in my mind. I filled out lists explaining who we were and telling our story up to that day.
When Nate showed up and began taking photos I was stressed to the core over the rain “ruining everything”, yet he jumped right in and got to work on what he was there to do. Nate took pictures of all the important items that I had with me throughout my day, he took delicate care in placing everything together seamlessly and in perfect lighting. He also caught such amazing family moments as he followed us around the party never leaving our sides, moments that we will treasure for a lifetime. When I look through these pictures today I can’t help but let tears flow as I see all the beauty that was there throughout the day despite the rain!
From the items to the smiles I know that I picked the very best photographer around! I HIGHLY recommend Nate Robinson to anyone planning their special day. He will capture EVERY moment, even the ones you might have forgotten to request. Also, I had a style in the back of my mind that I felt I wanted but due to the rain and changes throughout the day I let that go and let him take a more candid view… I will never regret letting him venture out and create what he did. My photos will last forever telling the story of our special day.
