Lovebug Photography

I’m Kelsi, the photographer behind the lens of Lovebug.
Photography began as a hobby for me. I graduated with a nursing degree and worked for six years as a neonatal ICU nurse. While I loved, and I mean absolutely treasured my nursing career, I began to find myself itching to fire up the creative side of me. And that’s where my photography journey really began.
I love documentary, storytelling photography. I want you to look back through your photographs and relive those moments as if they were happening all over again. I want you to feel that flood of emotions that came over you as they placed your child into your arms for the first time. How about the overwhelming love you feel as your child jumps into your arms, tightly squeezing your neck as if to never let go? Or the sound of your little one’s laughter as you chase him through the tall Kansas wildflowers at sunset?
It’s about the connections, the emotions, and all of those feelings. Let’s find the light in the everyday moments and create memories together.
