Hey, all! I am Pam and the face behind Iris Images. Yup, I am a one woman show, so things can get a little overwhelming at times but building this business has been one of my greatest joys and this will be my 9th year doing this full-time.
Before Iris Images, I was a high school English teacher for 5 years but found out quickly that was not the career path for me, so I took a leap of faith, quit teaching and started my own business. And it was the best decision I ever made.
Connecting with so many amazing people and helping them see how beautiful they truly are is definitely why I love this job so much. So many of my seniors express to me that they don’t feel like they are photogenic and they’re really nervous to be in front of the camera but my absolute favorite thing is to see how much more confident they become as the shoot progresses. At the end, all their nerves have gone away and it’s the coolest thing to see them feeling confident and beautiful. I will always be your biggest hype woman. None of my seniors have been professional models but I hope to make you feel like you could be one by the end of the shoot!
I feel so lucky to get to do this job every day and I hope to get to meet you.
