I’m Allen Tsai, a Dallas and Fort Worth fine art film photographer, also available for destinations worldwide.

I’ve always loved all sorts of art growing up and I majored in urban planning for a year in undergraduate. Despite going against my gut feeling, I decided to transfer my major to biology, and eventually ended up with a Ph.D. in neuroscience at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Yes, I always get the puzzled look and the question, “Why are you photographing weddings?” For me, documenting one of the most important days of your lives has been more rewarding, and I guess deep down in me, I just love being an artist! I love every aspect of weddings, from the gorgeous details to the raw emotions. I also love making new connections and truly adore all of my couples. My approach to your wedding is the perfect balance of an artistic photojournalistic style capturing real moments while simultaneously creating fine art portraits and stylized details.

I’m a foodie, world traveler, soccer player, and I love hanging out with my lovely Corgis, beautiful wife, and baby girl! I’m fun, energetic, passionate yet easy going, so let’s meet up!
