15 years ago I fell l in love with the art of photography. My boss handed me a camera and told me to start shooting and start learning. I watched him shoot, learned photoshop processes, started living behind the camera and began a 15 year journey of soaking up everything I could. I have studied under multiple photographers, taken classes, and spent years looking through a lens and seeing what I can create.
I rarely leave the house without my camera and in every behind the scenes shot you find one glued to my hand. I love living in the moment and then taking the second to step back, snap a shot and preserve the memory forever. When I can give that moment to a family, bride, parent or a company who loves their products, it is the ultimate fulfillment.
I began my career photographing families, children, seniors, newborns and weddings. In the past two years I started working in commercial lifestyle photography as well as real estate photography and am having so much fun it’s hard to call what I do work. I also had the absolute privilege to begin working in humanitarian photography. I traveled to Fiji after Cyclone Winston and met the most incredible people who taught me how much I truly have and instilled in me a humility and gratitude that I hope never leave. I traveled home with the greatest respect and admiration for the Fijian people.
