Lisa has always loved the process of photoshoots and thus discovered her passion for photography over 20 years ago. Originally from Chicago, Lisa transplanted to Los Angeles where she lived with her husband for many years and worked in the entertainment industry. But she wanted something more.

For years, she had always dreamed of moving to Maui. So, after shooting photos for many of those years in Los Angeles at a prestigious LA Family and Maternity Studio, Lisa and her husband made the move. After they arrived on Maui, Lisa and her husband decided to do a trial run to see if living on Maui is something they wanted on a permanent level. While here, Lisa reached out to Capture Aloha to see if they could use an extra photographer, which they did.

While working for Capture Aloha, Lisa met another photographer there, Jelena, and they have become best friends ever since.

For the last five years of living in LA, Lisa dreamed of having a photography studio by the beaches of her beloved island of Maui. “I’ve been obsessed with photos my whole life and have over 50,000 pictures just on my iPhone alone, which makes Jelena think I’m crazy. Ha Ha Ha – but she’s probably right!”
