I’m a small-town girl with a big love for ducks.
My love for animals started young; I grew up at a duck hatchery, and my family raised seeing-eye dogs. My love of photography came a bit later, and it only seemed natural to me to combine the two. There’s something about the beauty and innocence of animals and children that speak to me, and freezing fleeting moments has become a passion of mine.
I don’t live on a farm, though most of my clients think I do. I live in an ordinary suburban home with a fenced yard (my neighbors kind of hate me).
When I’m not duck-wrangling, kid-wrangling, or shooting, I’m probably sleeping or eating; if you’re a mom, you know my glamorous life. I truly believe that everyone is ordinary and extraordinary, and that’s what makes people so interesting.
It’s my goal to create photos of your family and children that take you back to those magical days of awe and wonder when anything was possible. I can’t wait to meet you!

This photographer took 12+ weeks to get my family member’s wedding pictures back to them. When asked at 6 weeks when to expect the photos back, the photographer’s response was per contract wedding pictures take 12 weeks but should be back sooner. There was no where in the contract that stated pictures wouldn’t be back for 12 weeks. When my family member asked about when to expect the pictures after 12 weeks had passed, the photographer says she will be sending an email today with a link to the pictures. How convenient right?! Once the pictures were received, none of the pictures were edited other than the sneak peek photos sent out the week after the weeding. There were filters placed on the rest of the pictures that were supposed to be professionally edited. This photographer claims to be “International award winning children, newborn, and family photographer capturing memories. Professional and Skilled Portrait Photographers for a Wide Range of Occasions”. During photos it was noticed that no one was repositioned and clothes were not repositioned to make for a better “professional” pictures. It was thought of at the time major editing would occur to remedy such things looked over. But no! Someone with a phone camera could have done a better job for free!
